I believe in the power of talk and building a trusting and supportive relationship with your therapist. I provide therapy services for individuals and couples dealing with a wide range of issues, including mood disorders, relationship issues, gender and sexuality concerns, addiction and stressors related to immigration status.
Therapy is not a "one size fits all" experience. I take a thoughtful approach, mixing elements of many different schools of therapy to create the right approach that works for you. I believe in a truly collaborative process where the plan we craft together is specific to you and your needs. I will help you learn specific skills and gain insights you can use to grow and feel better each day.
Working in a collaborative process, either in person or via telehealth, we can develop goals together and create a customized plan to help you feel better and do better.

It takes a couple that is committed, and maybe a little brave, to begin the process of couples counseling.
I create a safe and supportive space where couples can learn to better communicate and end the negative patterns that create tension and conflict. I have an objective and direct approach, where everyone's perspective is considered and validated.
Mindfulness training is for clients that have an interest in learning to manage stress and anxiety, or perhaps to just feel more engaged with life and less distracted. Training is structured and based on classic Mindfulness Based Stress Reductions principles. Sessions include education, practice and processing. This is a powerful, life changing experience, so, yes, you're going to get homework. Are you up for the challenge?
